Little Monster Tales - Backstage at the JCC

I was able to go backstage with Little Monster Tales very own Larry and Andy before their first show at the Dave and Mary Alper JCC today. They were all excited about performing for such a great audience.

FTF's theatre arts workshops for young people are a great opportunity for children ages 8-17 to let their creative juices flow in a safe, nurturing environment. Flaunt your creativity on Saturdays at FTF’s THE FACTORY LAB!

THEATRE ALIVE!
Explore the tools of drama through creative play, theatre games, storytelling, and acting exercises. Students will be able to use their voice, body, and imagination more effectively for the stage and every day life.
When: Saturdays: October 18th–December 13th, 2008 (8 weeks- no class on November 29th)
Time: 10:30am to 12:30pm
Ages: 8 to 17
Cost: $120 *Based on a min. of 4 enrollees, otherwise additional fees may be applicable.

MINI ARTS BLASTS!
Special Once-a-Month Classes that Pack a Blast of Creative Power! These self contained one day intensive programs are offered on a class by class basis each month with a specific focus. PARENTS NIGHT OUT!
Parents, here at Fantasy Theatre Factory we know that parenting is hard work, and that from time to time you deserve a break! That’s why we’re offering the FTF Parents Night Out! Every 3rd Saturday of the month, drop your children off at Fantasy Theatre’s The Factory Lab where they’ll play fun theatre games, and enjoy pizza all in a fun and safe environment. So, go ahead and have a night out for yourself for a change and rest assured that your children are having just as great a time as you are here with the professionally trained FTF staff. Parents Night Out, it’s a win win situation!

If you like Delightfully squeamish stories about monsters, children, and other squiggly creatures - then this show is for you! Little Monster Tales will have you Shiver hilariously with Fantasy Theatre Factory's comic version of Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson and 4 other pieces inspired by children's books.

My favorite part is when the monsters all join in for a hand clapping dance to Michael Jacksons Thriller.
